This video shows 6 teenagers (3 with Down’s Syndrome) singing “Wear your crown” from the Prom. World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global awareness day that has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.

“”6 Teens, 3 Extra Chromosomes, 1 Message | World Down Syndrome Day 2021” was the idea of Angela Bettoni who has Down’s Syndrome. “What I really want to achieve is to break down any kind of boundaries between us and show that we are all equally normal. People like me have 1 extra copy of Chromosome 21 but this is not a mistake, this is what makes us unique – remember, ‘your DNA is perfectly made’! Nothing can stop us from reaching for the stars, ‘You”ve got dreams of your own so go and get them’”.

For WDSD 2021, help spread the word, and contribute to a fundraising event organized by your local/national Down’s Syndrome Association.
