Sofia meets Andrew Silvaroli, the owner, who shares how Transitions Academy gives kids a taste of life at a pizzeria — folding pizza boxes, filing, topping their own pizzas, and learning valuable work skills. Some participants have even been hired after the academy, becoming local celebrities! Plus, they offer gluten-free pizza, much to Sofia’s delight.

She also talks with four amazing young people working at Smiling with Hope:
-Spencer – trustworthy, loves golf with his dad, dreams of a happy life with a family of his own
-Jeannette – organized and hardworking, loves the friendly environment, can do a talking/singing Elmo impression
-Hayden – hired after his internship, enjoys baseball and running, works Tuesdays and Wednesdays
-Theresa – loves folding pizza boxes, favorite pizza is pepperoni, hard worker with big plans for her 22nd birthday
